James P. Reed was born and raised in Plano, Texas. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 2010, cum laude, with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in History and a minor in Spanish. While at Texas Tech, he was a member of Phi Alpha Delta, Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma honor societies. Following graduation, Jay attended Baylor University Law School on a full tuition scholarship and received his Juris Doctorate in May 2013.
Jay’s practice focuses primarily on Social Security Disability. He is dedicated to obtaining benefits for those who can no longer work because of sickness or injury. Jay has attended Disability hearings across the country and has helped hundreds of people win benefits.
In his spare time, Jay plays blues guitar and actively works with dog rescue groups.
